Las Vegas - July 30 - Aug. 2, 2010

We took advantage of the BC Day long weekend to go down to Las Vegas for a few days. I hadn't been there since I was 10 and Steve had never been so we figured it was time. After an early morning ferry ride to Vancouver and a quick drive across the border we made our way to Bellingham Airport to catch the flight. I was surprised at what a tiny airport Bellingham is, it's way smaller than Victoria Airport! The check-in was quick and easy and the flight left on time. A very excited plane-load of people landed in Las Vegas and within an hour our taxi had dropped us off at the Monte Carlo. We checked in and then began our short weekend in Vegas. In just over two days we saw/did the following:
- Monte Carlo
- Bellagio Fountains
- Miracle Mile shops

- Las Vegas Monorail
